No-Gi BJJ

A no-gi submission grappling class centered around explosive techniques, strategies, and grappling, practiced without the traditional Gi. The session usually starts with a dynamic warm-up, followed by instruction on takedowns, submissions, and positional control suited to the slicker, faster pace of no-gi grappling. Practitioners then engage in live sparring, focusing on agility and transitions. The class emphasizes adaptability and fluidity, with a strong emphasis on technique and strategy in a less formal setting compared to Gi classes.

Competition Teams

Whether you are more suited for our Gi or No-Gi classes, we have a team for athletes looking to put their skills to the test at formal competitions. Our teams have their own training schedules leading into events/tournaments and we also run our own events in house.

Traditional Gi BJJ

A traditional Gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) class focused on technique, strategy, and traditional ettiqute. The class typically begins with a warm-up, followed by instruction on specific grips, submissions, and positional drills. Practitioners then apply these techniques in controlled sparring sessions, emphasizing leverage and technique over brute strength. Disciplined and respectful, with a strong focus on technique, tradition, and etiquette.

Muay Thai

Our Muay Thai class blends intense cardio work with a strong focus on striking techniques and sparring. The session usually starts with a rigorous warm-up to boost fitness and stamina, followed by instruction on fundamental techniques such as punches, kicks, elbows, and knees. We then drill these techniques through pad work and partner drills, refining form and power. The class typically culminates in controlled sparring, where participants apply their skills in a dynamic and realistic setting, emphasizing technique, timing, and strategic thinking while maintaining a high level of conditioning.
